In addition, what a joy it is to be able to roll over and read the clock in the morning. WOW, what a difference!!!

I just wanted to take a moment to write to you and let you know how happy I am with my "new" eyes. I really can’t even begin to tell you how much I love being able to see again without contacts, it is so wonderful!

Every morning when I get up and can see the clock without putting my contacts in, I thank Dr. Hines for my surgery. When I go swimming (which I love to do), I thank Dr. Hines for not having to take out and then put back in those contacts. When I see a beautiful (or not) sunrise or sunset, I thank Dr. Hines for my "new" eyes. I could go on and on about how thankful I am for my fantastic "new" eyes, however, I think you understand that what I'm saying is "THANKS A MILLION!!"

I could never put into words how great it is to be free of contacts (is that a word?) and I thank you. Dr. Hines and the whole staff of The Eye Center are very terrific people. I was taken very good care of and never had any questions or doubts about what was happening during the whole process of my surgery from the first time I walked into your office until the last checkup visit I had.

How do I thank thee? Let me count the ways! I know I've told you time and time again how thankful I am to you, Dr. Hines and the entire staff for creating a "new outlook" on life for me, but seriously…THANK YOU!

Since my surgery in mid-April, life for me has been hassle free! No more itchy, watery, blood shot eyes! The best part is, I don't stick my finger in my eye and move my contact around, therefore "grossing out" everyone around me! My friends and family thank you too!

By the way, my trip to Cabo San Lucas was truly a "vacation". No worries on the airplane with dry eyes. Plus swimming in the pool and ocean was like I remembered it to be prior to wearing contacts! Yippee!

Dear Bill,

I think I have just witnessed a miracle over the last two days! Dick and Harriet called from their car phone on their way back to Simla a few minutes ago, and they are just as pleased as they can be. They are so special to me and I have shed a few tears of joy at this opening of a new world for Dick as he once again beholds the beauty of leaves on trees. Both of them have reiterated how nice you and your whole staff were as they explored this new procedure and experienced amazement at the results.
